Mahi Tahi

Each week on Tuesday and Thursday we have a collaborative group task called Mahi Tahi meaning,-" working as one"-
each week we a given a task, with random people.

Yesterday we were tasked with making a bottle car that could propel itself without us pushing or forcing it.

In our ANZAC Booklet, we were given a task of all the wars that Australia has fought in, and write a blurb about it.

We had write about WW1, Veitnam war, Korean war, and the 2nd Gulf war.

Shark Research

This weeks contract said to do research about sharks,

I chose to do research about the Bull Shark, I had to draw a picture of the Bull Shark and write 2 facts about it.

If I was Prime Minister

If I was Prime Minister…

If I was Prime Minister, I would lower NZ’s diesel and petrol prices,
so that anyone is able to have a nice trip without paying up to $80.

Also, I would change the amount of plastic packaging we have on most of our food
because if we don’t, there will still be a lot of plastic/rubbish in general, floating
around
waiting for fish to eat it and then die.

Being Prime Minister would be challenging because having to make a decision that
only
the South Island wanted and/or needed would make the South Island happy,
but leave the North Island unhappy.

I think I would get my perks having the role of P.M because I’d get see a lot of cool
things,
as in kids who’d want be like me when they grow up, helping the community and\
much more.

I would deal with an unhappy country by, listening to them, responding not reacting
, and do as much as I can to help everyone in my country.
